“We’re feeling the shades of blue, but in all the best ways, with Natasha and Slavik’s wedding. Their timeless Tulsa soirée has completely stolen our hearts. The sweet couple met through mutual friends when Natasha would visit Oklahoma. Eventually, Natasha and her family moved to Oklahoma from Iowa and started attending the same church as Slavik. Natasha’s big move prompted Slavik to ask her on a date. After just one date, the two knew that their love was meant to be. Thus began their adventure as a couple. The two enjoyed traveling and going on spontaneous trips together. Therefore, when Slavik told Natasha he booked a spontaneous trip, she thought nothing of it. Slavik surprised Natasha with a trip to Savannah, Georgia, where he got down on one knee and asked Natasha to be his wife. Of course, it was an easy “yes” for Natasha.
Natasha and Slavik’s timeless Tulsa wedding with all the shades of blue is definitely one for the books. Harper Mae Events coordinated the couple’s special day and made sure Natasha and Slavik could enjoy their day to the fullest. Their day entailed a beautiful ceremony at The Bella Donna with their gorgeous cathedral windows. The windows allowed natural light to illuminate the ceremony space that the talented Meg Rose Photography captured beautifully. After the ceremony, the couple and guests made their way to the reception space. Inside their grand reception hall, decor and rentals from Party Perfect Event Rentals and Party Pro Rents created a sophisticated and timeless space. Shades of blue florals from Robyn’s Flower Garden adorned the tabletops, accompanied by blue glassware and gold accented flatware. A jazz band played soft jazz throughout the reception while the couple got to spend intimate time with their guests. Both Natasha and Slavik come from Russian backgrounds. The couple decided to incorporate their Russian culture throughout their ceremony and reception. One of our favorite traditions Natasha shared is their dessert table. In Russian culture, it is tradition for family and friends to make sweet treats for all to enjoy. We absolutely love this!
