Timeless and oh so romantic, Haley and Harrison’s blissful burgundy wedding at the Civic Center Music Hall is breathtakingly beautiful! Haley and Harrison met while attending Oklahoma Christian University. However, it wasn’t until 2021 till their paths crossed again, reconnecting the two. Harrison mainly worked in North Dakota at the time but lived in Tulsa, while Haley lived in Edmond. One week while Harrison was back in Oklahoma, he asked Haley on a date. Harrison drove three hours round trip just to take Haley to dinner. Talk about modern chivalry! On the way to dinner in November of 2021, Harrison suggested the two walk around Scissortail Park before their dinner reservation. As the sun set, Harrison got down on one knee and surprised Haley with her dream ring from BC Clark Jewelers. Of course, Haley said, “yes,” and the couple began planning their fairytale wedding with Harper Mae Events.
Despite a February ice storm three days before Haley and Harrison’s big day, their wedding weekend happened without a hitch. After a rehearsal dinner at Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse, Haley and Harrison were ready to say their vows and start their forever together. The couple wanted their wedding to feel classic, timeless, and a touch whimsical. This vision was executed with decor from Marianne’s Rentals with the added historical architecture of the Hall of Mirrors at the Civic Center. All guests were seated at their assigned table during the ceremony, with only immediate family in rows at the front. This helped to minimize the need for a complete room flip and offered a seamless transition from the ceremony to the reception. Immediately following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a seated dinner from Harris Custom Catering. As huge dessert fans, Haley and Harrison definitely did not lack in that department. At the center of the reception space stood the bride’s and groom’s cake from Allie’s Baking Boutique and two macaron towers on each side of the cake table from Cafe Disco. The couple ended the night with the last dance to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole before exiting in a white 1958 Jaguar.
