“If the celebration was planned by Harper Mae Events, you can count us in! This winter wedding inspiration hung the mistletoe for us, and we can’t get enough of every last sugar plum detail. Civic Center Music Hall was an obvious choice for this styled shoot’s dramatic backdrop and the light, but vibrant way that only Meg Rose Photography captures a scene that kept holiday spirit in the mood. Artists with Tease to Please Hair and Makeup styled this model to the nines with a rich berry lip and an elegant bridal bun she wore with various luxe headbands that complemented her contemporary look. The groom looked dashing as well, clad in a black tuxedo then later a velvet maroon option, both from EVERYMAN and made for the stylish man. The pair posed around stately Christmas-inspired scenes while Courtney Kibby Designs painted before their very eyes to create a masterpiece full of memories they will be able to cherish for years to come. Guide your guests’ eyes forward with a gorgeous ceremony arch like this one provided by Wooden Hearts Boutique and covered with florals in warm holiday shades from Robyn’s Flower Garden that served as a backdrop for the Nutcracker nuptials.
A winter wedding wouldn’t be quite complete without some dazzling desserts served, and Mishelle Handy Cakes understood the assignment with this three-tiered dream, complete with abstract sugar details and trimmed with foliage and frosted cranberries. Cookie lovers have options too with these themed designs by Royal Cookie Co. in festive nutcracker, ballerina, reindeer and Christmas tree shapes. On a pale pink tablescape, gold contrasts just beautifully and these chargers matched gilded chiavari chairs provided by Marianne’s Rentals. Each place setting was distinguished with a name in calligraphy by Paper + More whose thoughtful invitation suite design also included little nutcracker details! This opulent ring and wedding band from BC Clark Jewelers are the frosty final details that seal the deal. We have yet to see anything as ornate as this winter wedding inspiration from Harper Mae Events! Read on for a note from the talented planner about the vision behind this styled shoot. Cheers!”

From the planner: “In celebration of the 50th Year of the Oklahoma City Ballet and the Christmas season, Harper Mae Events and the Civic Center Music Hall wanted to create a magical wedding shoot inspired by The Nutcracker! Utilizing shades of blush, cranberry, dusty blue, cream, and gold, HME opted to create a modern yet whimsical design including two bridal looks, charming details, and lots of sweets including a glamorous cake, iced Christmas cookies, and cotton candy! Just before the night concluded, we received the sweetest surprise of all…a visit from the Sugar Plum Fairy!”
