Every bride envisions how she’s going to look walking down the aisle the day of her wedding. As she should! Your wedding day is such a special one and deserves to be treated as such. With that said, you’re going to want a hair and makeup artist that knows how to deliver on your vision. With the help of Laci of Tease to Please Hair & Makeup, we’re sharing tips and tricks to help you feel confident in choosing your wedding hair and makeup artist!
There are a wide variety of options when it comes to choosing your wedding hair and makeup artist. Sometimes you’ll have one person doing both and in other cases you may have one team coming to do hair and another team coming to do the makeup. Another thing to consider is if you want on-location or in-house. It’s important to see if the person or team that you want can accommodate your request in that aspect.
While each wedding beauty vendor is slightly different, the process is all pretty simple for the most part.
Laci of Tease to Please Hair & Makeup: “We love to get to know our brides/couples from the moment they reach out all the way up to the wedding day! We know that hair and makeup is such a big part of your day and we want to make it special. The booking inquiry brides fill out on our website gathers all the necessary details so that we can put together a customized quote, contract, and invoice. This also allows us to partner each bride with the perfect artist based on their bridal vision. After a bride books, we then work together to schedule hair and makeup for engagements, trial, or bridals and love having our brides at our studio in Richardson, The Darling Co.! We keep our brides/couples updated through the whole process by creating a day of timeline, communicating FAQ’s, reminders, and more to help our brides know exactly what to expect. Then on wedding day, our team shows up ready to make everyones hair and makeup dreams come true while being timely and efficient so our brides can truly sit back, relax and enjoy the day.”
Laci of Tease to Please Hair & Makeup: We typically suggest 6 months to a year out but with a large team of 40 artists, we can typically accommodate brides/couples that book at any stage during their wedding planning process.

Questions + Things to Consider
“Hair and Makeup is so much more than just the way you look. It directly impacts the way you feel on your wedding day. Setting aside a budget for hair and makeup ensures that you aren’t worrying about your makeup and hair so you can enjoy the moment and know you will look great all night long. Be sure your bridal party is on board for getting hair and makeup so everyone’s look is cohesive so all eyes are on you! Last but not least, professional hair and makeup doesn’t mean you have to look like someone else. If you want to wear your hair down with just curls, go for it. If you are natural and don’t typically wear a ton of makeup, we do that too! Your bridal look should still look and feel like you!”
You’re going to be the star of the show on your wedding day, so it’s totally understandable that you want to sparkle, shine, and glow with confidence! We hope these tips helps you in choosing your wedding hair and makeup artist!
